"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."
— Romans 8:14 (ASV)
"Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts."
— Zechariah 4:6 (ASV)
Ruwach (רוח) is the Hebrew word for Spirit, wind, or breath — the same word used throughout Scripture for the Spirit of God (Ruach HaKodesh).
This space exists to learn what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit rather than relying on the wisdom of this world. As it is written:
"Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,
And lean not upon thine own understanding:
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
And he will direct thy paths."
"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." — 1 Corinthians 3:19 (ASV)
"But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things." — John 14:26 (ASV)
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits." — James 3:17 (ASV)
Take a moment to be still and know that He is God. What is the Spirit saying today?
"Be still, and know that I am God."
— Psalm 46:10 (ASV)
